Lyn Littrell

Artist Lyn Littrell creates unique clay designs learned through formal training as a commercial artist and her love of pottery in her youth. She is an Orlando native that graduated from Boone High School to then attend The Art Institute of Atlanta where she earned a degree in visual communications.

Her clay work has developed over the years doing craft shows, working in retail and as a pottery instructor at "Sally Jones Pottery" in Montreat, NC. Lyn, like many of our artists, was fortunate to receive a lot of encouragement from her family and friends. All of her items are handmade, no molds are used. Items are made from white stoneware clay, fired in a kiln, finished with an iron oxide mixture, glazes and/or acrylic paint are added by hand. Some items are finished with clear coat spray.

Lyn is happy to create custom orders, she just needs to know names, dates or events, sayings, verses or whatever you would like and she can put it in clay!!
