Artist Beth Shannon with The Tempting Tub makes artisan olive oil soaps and natural bath products for the entire family. How did she get started making soaps, you may wonder. Here is Beth's story in her own words.
"During the I-can’t-leave-3-boys-home-alone-or-the-house-will-burn-down season in my life, my husband and I wrangled a sitter, and fled to Barnes and Noble for a 'date'.
'Get a hobby,' he said. 'Learn something new,' he implored. Sigh. I’m tired. What I need is a massage, a pint of ice cream. A vacation. Maybe swap the minivan for a cute car to drive up A1A to who-knows-where. Maybe they won’t notice I left.
